Detail Information

Custom Curved Hotel Suite Sofa with Sculptural Wood Arms

A gently curved profile, tailored ivory upholstery and substantial wood-paneled arms give this hotel suite sofa a distinct architectural look, developed to order so proportions, fabric and finish follow the project.

The long, flowing seat follows a gentle arc instead of a straight line. Separate, generously proportioned seat sections follow that curve, while the upholstered back is divided into neat panels, each marked by a shallow horizontal inset. The fabric shown is warm ivory with a visibly irregular, nubby woven texture, an appearance close to boucle that adds depth without a bold pattern. The contrast is deliberate: soft, light upholstery against a darker, richly grained wood exterior. The two broad wooden arm tops carry a distinctive offset notch and gently softened edges, and below them tall wood-grain side panels run close to the floor, where a continuous low plinth follows the curve of the sofa. The rear is finished in broad wood-grain panels rather than ordinary exposed upholstery, so the sofa can stand away from the wall in a suite living area. It is a quiet design, but not an anonymous one: it gives guests a comfortable place to sit and gives the room a clear visual center.

Key Highlights

A Curved Seat With a Strong Sense of Place

The long seat follows a gentle arc rather than a straight line, with separate seat sections that track the curve and a low plinth that continues it.

The Woodwork Is Part of the Design

Broad arm tops with an offset notch, tall wood-grain side panels and a finished wood rear shell make the frame a visible part of the design, not a hidden structure.

Ivory Textured Upholstery

Warm ivory fabric with an irregular, nubby weave and a boucle-like appearance adds depth without a bold pattern, and keeps a long sofa visually light.

Made Specific to Your Suite

Overall width, curve radius, seat depth and height, back height, cushion divisions and arm proportions are developed against your floor plan and drawings.

Wood and Upholstery Details

Sculptural arm and back: the broad wood arm top meets channel-detailed back cushions, with the upholstery seam running cleanly along the curve

Offset notch and grain: the arm top is cut with an asymmetric step, and the walnut-tone grain stays readable across the joint

Rear shell: a broad wood-grain back panel above the floor, with natural colour variation and a small knot

Continuous curved back: the panels follow the arc of the sofa so the rear reads as one finished surface

Materials & Craftsmanship

Exterior woodwork
Arm tops, side panels, the low plinth and the curved rear shell are built as visible parts of the design. The deep walnut-tone appearance shown is a finish reference; species and construction, in solid wood or veneered components, are confirmed against the approved specification.
Wood finish
Walnut, oak or ash can be developed with natural, stained, deeper smoked or custom sample-matched finishes, with visible grain direction and panel breaks reviewed so the curved shell and arms read as one intentional piece.
Upholstery
The fabric shown is a warm ivory textured woven material with a boucle-like appearance. Boucle, textured weaves, chenille, velvet, wool blends, performance textiles or leather can be reviewed against rub tests, pilling, cleaning methods, colourfastness and applicable fire-safety specifications.
Seat and back cushions
Separate seat sections follow the arc of the sofa, and the back is divided into panels with a shallow horizontal inset. Backrest height, seat depth, cushion firmness and seam positions are reviewed with the intended guest experience.

Customization Options (OEM / ODM)

Curve, Size and Proportion

Overall width, curve radius, seat depth, seat height, back height, cushion divisions and arm dimensions can be developed around the actual suite rather than a standard catalogue size. A shallower arc may suit a long window wall; a stronger curve may work better around a coffee table.

Wood Species and Finish

Natural walnut, warm oak, stained ash, deeper smoked tones or a custom sample-matched finish, with visible grain direction and panel breaks reviewed so the curved rear shell and arms read as one piece.

Upholstery and Colour

Boucle, textured weaves, chenille, velvet, wool blends, performance textiles or leather. The displayed ivory can be replaced by a warmer neutral, a saturated brand colour or a more restrained weave, subject to suitability and project approval.

Coordinated Suite Furniture

Develop this sofa alongside coordinated coffee tables, side tables, lounge seating, beds, headboards, desks and nightstands so wood finishes and upholstery stay connected across the whole FF&E scope.

Quality & Service

Engineering the Curve

The radius affects upholstery cutting, cushion geometry, wood panel construction, seam alignment, access through lifts and corridors, and the space the piece occupies. These details are resolved before the first production unit is built.

Approved Reference First

Material and finish samples, a prototype or model-room sample where included in scope, and approved final specifications establish the reference for production.

In-Process Checks

Checks focus on consistency of the curve, upholstery seam placement, cushion proportions, alignment of the arm profiles and colour matching across wood surfaces and production batches.

China and Vietnam Manufacturing

PALMWELL is backed by furniture manufacturing operations with approximately 30 years of experience and a combined footprint of approximately 500,000 sq. ft. across China and Vietnam.

FAQ

Can PALMWELL manufacture this curved sofa according to our hotel drawings?

Yes. PALMWELL supports OEM manufacturing from approved project drawings and ODM design development where details still need to be resolved. Radius, size, proportions, construction and material choices are reviewed before confirmation.

Can we choose different wood species and upholstery materials?

Yes. Walnut, oak and ash, custom stains and project-selected upholstery can all be reviewed. The exact construction, wood species, fabric composition and finishes are confirmed through approved samples and project specifications.

Is this a modular or sleeper sofa?

The pictured version is not specified as modular or as a sleeper. If sectional construction is needed for access, shipping or installation, PALMWELL can review an engineered solution; a sleeper mechanism would require a separate design and feasibility review.

What information is needed for a quotation?

Please provide the suite layout or drawings, approximate quantity, target dimensions, preferred upholstery and wood finish, applicable brand and performance requirements, destination and requested schedule. MOQ, lead time, packing and shipping terms are then confirmed in the project quotation.

Discuss a Project-Specific Version

Share the room plan, target dimensions, reference images or shop drawings, material and finish palette, project quantity, destination and hotel brand standards. If you are developing an entire suite package, include the FF&E schedule so matching finishes can be coordinated from the start.
