Custom Upholstered Hotel Armchair with Open Back and Sculptural Panel Base
An upholstered hotel armchair whose arms, back and base read as one continuous architectural form, developed to order for hospitality projects.
Rather than standing on four exposed legs, this chair has two broad, fabric-covered side panels that extend all the way to the floor, with a padded seat set between them and open space underneath. A gently angled backrest meets the arms, and a curved opening below it keeps the otherwise solid silhouette from feeling heavy. The version shown is upholstered in a light ivory fabric with a fine woven texture, finished with rounded edges, placed seams and no visible hardware.
